Victoria Montero

Victoria Montero is the Interim Executive Director at the Hispanic Center Lehigh Valley.  She also works at St. Luke’s University Health Network as the Manager of Health Equity Initiatives and has been employed by the network for the past 15 years. Victoria is responsible for planning, implementing, and evaluating the career mentoring programs, where she ensures that at-risk youth are given the tools and opportunities to succeed in the healthcare field.  She does this by orchestrating a collaborative partnership between the school district and St. Luke’s University Health Network. The programs emphasize increasing graduation rates among high-risk populations, improving English language skills for English as a Second Language Learners, providing work experience for high school students in the healthcare field, while teaching employability skills, and diversifying the healthcare workforce. Victoria is committed to health equity and is actively involved with the Hispanic Center of the Lehigh Valley, where she is instrumental in developing a Center for Integrated Health in conjunction with St. Luke’s. She holds a Bachelor’s of Science in Health Services Administration and a Master’s in Public Health from East Stroudsburg University.  Victoria is interested in issues related to health equity, immigrant health, and education for vulnerable populations.
